What I am going to tell you now will surprise you a lot. Elvin Siew Chun Wai that is me had no interest in travel and writing until a few years ago. However, I would love reading books since my college days. But, I would love reading romance and science fiction. I would remain in the imagery world of romance and science fiction and would hate everything beyond that. The story how Elvin Siew Chun Wai came out of his imagery world and took up new hobbies of reading travel books, magazines, and webzines, travelling, and writing travelogue is quite interesting. My parents were quite unhappy seeing me lost in the world of romance and science fiction. They wanted me to go around, meet people, come out of the fiction world, and become a practical man. They tried everything to divert my attention from the world of romance and science fiction to the real world. But, every time, they failed. Seeing no hope, they decided to take help of my friends. They discussed their expectations with my friends and requested them to do something to get my hobbies changed. On their request, some friends started meeting me and discussing about different beautiful places in the world. Their conversations would not pique my interest in the beginning. However, over time, I started taking interest in their stories about their travel stories and the description of different places in the world. Once they came to me with an idea to explore Bern, the political center of Switzerland, I could not deny their proposal and align with their idea. We left for Bern together. We visited many amazing places and did a lot of fun. Then the day to return approached. It was the time to return, but the city had stolen my and I wanted to spend some more time in the city, but that was not possible. My friends asked me to return with them and then they would revisit the city in near future. That tour transformed Elvin Siew Chun Wai as an individual. I started reading about beautiful places in the world and looking for new travel opportunities. Later, when I joined a job as an office assistant, it became difficult for me to get time to read new travel books, magazines, and webzines. Also, it became difficult to tour new places. Therefore, I, Elvin Siew Chun Wai, decided to quit my job to start a new career as a travel blogger.
When I am not reading, writing, or travelling somewhere, I love to hang out with my friends. I call my friends at my home or somewhere we can have some great moments together. I love to play chess. It gives me immense pleasure when I defeat my opponents.
